We create sandblasting stencils from a special rubber compound with a thickness ranging from 0.6 to 1 mm.
Thanks to their properties, such as flexibility and resistance to the sand stream, the stencils can withstand hundreds to thousands of sandblasting cycles.
Our rubber sandblasting stencils are used for glass marking by leading glassmaking companies in Europe and around the world.
Stencil creation
We design each stencil to withstand as many sandblasting cycles as possible. The logo that will appear on the stencil must be adjusted in advance to meet sandblasting requirements. Any modifications or adjustments to the logo or design are always discussed with the customer. Once the design is approved, we transform it into a stencil and send it to the customer.
As an example, we present the stencil creation process for RONA, a.s., a long-term partner of ours.

Shape and size
We can always customize the size and shape of the stencil to meet the customer’s needs. The design on the stencil must have a minimum font height of 1 mm, while the maximum design size can be up to 60 mm. The stencil material size around the design varies depending on the type of sandblasting machine. Since each glass company uses different equipment for sandblasting, we create stencils in different sizes for each company.
We can also adjust the shape of the stencil according to the customer’s preferences and needs. It can be in the shape of a rectangle, square, circle, or ellipse.
The most common sizes we create are:
35 x 30 mm
40 x 40 mm
55 x 55 mm
70 x 70 mm
or Ø 65 mm.
Stencil lifespan
Each stencil is unique, and its lifespan is influenced by several factors. The duration of its life is determined by:
The complexity or intricacy of the design (e.g., font size),
The thickness of the sandblasting stencil,
The pressure settings during sandblasting,
The grain size of the sand used during sandblasting.
WARNING! Do not expose stencils to prolonged sunlight. They are not UV-stable and will lose their flexibility.
